What buyers specify first

• Publish a girth-based size chart with a measuring guide; do not convert from collar sizes.
• Load-bearing stitching at the D-ring is the failure point — specify stitch pattern and thread type.
• Padding thickness should be stated in millimetres; "padded" is not a specification.
• For no-pull designs, state the intended training method so the buyer knows what the geometry does.
