Cut-and-sew pet apparel to your size curve

Coats, jumpers, raincoats, cooling vests, boots and bandanas. The category looks simple and is not: the failure mode is almost always sizing, not stitching. A size curve that fits your market is worth more than a lower unit price.

What buyers specify first

  • Send a size chart with body length, chest girth and neck; do not rely on S/M/L labels, which differ by brand and market.
  • Fabric weight is the main cost driver — 300 gsm fleece and 180 gsm jersey look identical in a photograph.
  • Waterproof ratings mean nothing without taped seams; specify both or accept a shower-resistant claim only.
  • Wash-care and fibre-content labels must match the destination market language requirements.
